WhatsApp is releasing a Favorite Chats filter for its Android beta testers.
Meta aims to improve user experience by letting users easily access their most important conversations and groups. The update version is 2.24.12.7, according to WABetaInfo.
WhatsApp encourages all beta testers to download the new update from the Google Play Store to try this new Favorite Chats filter. It is gradually rolling out to more users in the coming days, but it may not be instantly accessible to everyone.

Previously available for the calls tab, this feature is now extended to the chats tab. The new filter allows users to quickly find their Favorite Chats, including individual contacts and groups, and can be tested by those with the latest update.
This initiative helps prioritize and organize important conversations in WhatsApp.
Users can add Favorites directly within the chats tab or through a dedicated “Favorites” section in the app settings. This section lets users manage their favorite chats by adding, removing, or reordering contacts and groups. Additionally, users can add chats to Favorites directly from the chat info screen, making it quick and easy.
