The Xiaomi 14 Ultra leak hints at powerful specifications: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 5,300 mAh battery with 90W charging, and a quad-camera setup headlined by a 50MP Sony LYT-900 1-inch sensor.
Recently, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun confirmed the global launch of the Xiaomi 14 series, on February 25, 2024. Leaks from Yogesh Brar on X revealed key specifications of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, aligning with previous rumors.
According to Yogesh’s leaks, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to feature a quad-camera setup, including a 50MP primary 1-inch wide-angle sensor, possibly the Sony LYT-900. Additionally, it may include a secondary 50MP Ultrawide lens, a third 50MP Telephoto with 3.2X zoom, and a fourth 50MP 5X Telephoto camera. These cameras are anticipated to feature Leica optics and tuning.
As expected, the phone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and is rumored to offer up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, along with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. It will run on Android 14 with Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra seems to boast impressive specifications, particularly with its powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, high-resolution LTPO AMOLED display, and fast charging capabilities.
However, the pricing will ultimately determine its competitiveness in the market. It’s hard to speculate on pricing without official confirmation, but considering its flagship features, it’s likely to be positioned as a premium device.
